The objective of this HCR funded project is to redevelop 2.15 acres of vacant property on Genesee Street. Sixty six affordable units split between a main apartment building and 16 three-bedroom townhomes are proposed. The main apartment features 50 units with 27 one-bedroom units and 23 two-bedroom units. Ultimately, Community Hope is intended to revitalize a vacant block on a major street in the city of Buffalo and provide safe, affordable housing to community members.
