Ellicottville Spas

Stieglitz Snyder Architecture developed schematic designs for a Scandinavian spa in Ellicottville, NY. Located adjacent to several ski slopes, the Scandinavian style spa was envisioned to operate year round for tourists and locals. 

Utilizing the natural grade of the site, three sauna's, a massage suite and five thermal pools with various temperatures are nestled into the densely vegetated hillside. Parking is located towards the rear of the property, prioritizing vistas for the thermal pools and saunas. Casual seating is scattered between the saunas and thermal pools. Fire pits allow comfortable outdoor seating year round.
