This addition to the Medaille College Main Building expands the existing Veterinary Technology Department. Program spaces include separate animal housing areas for cats, rabbits, rodents and a much needed indoor canine kennel, complete with individual dog runs. A second floor computer lab and a new animal surgery suite complete the Veterinary Technology spaces.
Also included in the addition is a new 3500 square foot Lecture Hall / Auditorium with 235 seats. The new lecture hall has been designed to accommodate advanced communication technologies such as video conferencing and distance learning. The special seating is equipped with data and power outlets to allow the use of laptop computers and personal electronics. As the largest capacity venue of its type, this space serves a number of the colleges' multipurpose functions.
