The proposed cultural center provides exhibition space, collection storage, conference and office space, a gift shop and classroom space. The non-public spaces occur on the lower level, while the primary public and exhibit spaces are on the main floor level. In accordance with Seneca Cultural traditions, the main level floor plan is organized to promote a counter-clockwise circulation path.
The site design utilizes the existing grade change to provide a prominently exposed public entrance above and a private entrance below. To further enhance the site appeal, parking is separated from the building and set in a more natural landscape.
