General Herkimer Elementary School

The scope of work at Herkimer Elementary School included a new classroom wing, library expansion, and various site improvements including the removal of a modular classroom wing. The new classroom wing replaces a modular classroom wing and expands the school with 10 classrooms and a new gymnasium.

Both the classroom wing addition and library expansion have new MEP systems and all existing area mechanicals were upgraded. A new telephone and data system was installed and the fire/smoke alarm system have been upgraded. Site work included expanding the parking lot and outdoor play area.
