Utica City School District Athletic Reconstruction

In 2018 the Stieglitz Snyder Architecture and CHA Athletic Consultants assisted the Utica City School District in achieving a successful referendum to reconstruct athletic fields for the district. The scope of work is concentrated at three schools:

• James Donovan Middle School

• John F. Kennedy Middle School

• Thomas Proctor High School

Major highlights of the work include resurfacing the tracks for all three campuses, correcting drainage and field conditions for all football, soccer, baseball and softball fields, as well as new bleachers at each campus. Turf will be installed on the Proctor High School Football Field. A two story field house that accommodates locker rooms, public restrooms, a concession stand and field storage will be constructed at Proctor High School.

Investment in the athletic infrastructure of the district is critically important to the health and well being of students and residents in the community.
